*Shadow gasps and wakes up suddenly, in shock from a nightmare. She looks around quickly, and lets out a breath of relief to find that she is in the little lean-to her and her sister had made the night before when traveling through the forest. And at the thought of her sister, she realized that she wasn't there*
Shadow: "Does she have to disappear EVERYTIME i close my eyes?! Some big sister!"
*She looks at the mess of leaves and moss that she had used for warmth that night, being much cooler in the evenings now that it was winter.*
Shadow: "And of course, she has left me all the cleaning to do around here. I should use her little trick now and again
."
*She brushes back her jet-black hair back into a loose bun, and started to smooth out the bed she had created. She was just about to head out to look for her sister, when she heard a twig snap near her. She sharply looked in the direction of the noise, as her ears pricked trying to catch any other sounds.*
